Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the Sardinia In Travel app processes users’ personal data, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”).
1. Data controller
The data controller is ElectricFlock (Vittorio Mascia), contact email privacy@sardiniaintravel.it.

The App performs no advertising tracking or profiling and does not share data with third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Optional location and geolocation
Providing location is optional: the App works without it, with reduced functionality. “Always” access is used solely to deliver area alerts when the App is closed and can be revoked at any time from the system Settings.
4. Processors and transfers
The App relies on Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Crashlytics, Cloud Messaging) and Google Sign-In as processors, and on Apple Push Notification service to deliver notifications. Some processing may involve transfers to the United States, under the adequate safeguards provided by the GDPR. Public data shown in the App (Civil Protection bulletins, water quality, AIFA medicines, events) comes from institutional sources and does not involve sending the user’s personal data.
5. Retention
Account data is kept while the account remains active. Reports expire automatically by type. Deleting the account removes the associated personal data.
6. Your rights
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability by writing to privacy@sardiniaintravel.it. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
7. Account deletion
You can delete your account and the associated personal data directly in the App, under Profile → Delete account. The action is immediate and irreversible.
8. Minors
The App is not intended for children under 14 and does not knowingly collect their data.
9. Changes
Any updates will be published on this page with a new “last updated” date.
